Market Factors

O'Neill responds to market factors in a mature and responsible way. From research, there does not seem to be any large public scandals by the company that have been publicized. Because of this, we can assume that they are true in their CSR efforts and work hard to avoid conflict. One thing that is important to them is fair trade. Fair trade focuses on a living wage for suppliers of raw goods and materials, as well as respect for strong environmental practices and a focus on the trading relationships between advanced economies and developing nations. With many of O'Neills suppliers being in third world countries, they have made commitments to combatting the issue of fair living wages within their supply chain. They are aware of the issue, and have committed to better understanding the severity of the problem. O'Neill has created target wages for the different supplier areas, and hope to fulfill them in the near future. 

Media

In regards to the way O'Neill relays CSR information to the media, they are not super specific. Each of their social media pages has a "highlights" section that explains what their Ocean Mission is with links to their website. They also use the hashtag #oneillblue when promoting their sustainable collection and ask that customers use the hashtag with their O'Neill gear! They also post promotional videos frequently that highlight O'Neill Blue and why it is so important to not only their brand, but our society as well.

Government

There is no indication that O'Neill works alongside any government organizations within their CSR efforts. There was no proof of reporting to the government throughout my research. Considering they have a large international presence this makes sense because it would be a lot to maintain. They are although involved in a variety of NGO's and non-profits that allow them to be held responsible for different elements of their CSR reporting.
