Organization Overview

The brand that I chose to look at was O'Neill Surf Company. O'Neill was founded in 1952 by Jack O'Neill in San Francisco, California. It continues to be one of the leading surf lifestyle brands while making commitments to protecting the ocean. Their founder was committed to protecting the "playground" that is the ocean and carried his ideas of ocean conservation into the brands mission.  I chose this brand because I was aware of their public commitment to the ocean and was curious to know how they applied those ideals in their business.
